Ahhhh! I know that I'm an awful person. How dare I not post a blog for 20-something days!?! It's just so hard to decide what to chat about. So, being the lazy one that I am, I just don't write anything.
But, today, however, I do feel like writing. I guess that the notion strikes when your doctor has you pumped full of muscle relaxers.
I'd like to start by saying that I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. You know, Christmas holidays are just around the corner, so I hope that you've all been doing your shopping! Speaking of Christmas, we put up our Christmas tree last night. It's so funny...I remember when I was little, plugging up the lights and seeing the tree glow made me so excited and happy. Well 20 years later, it still has the same effect on me. I love that. Some things are just timeless. When I'm 80 years old, I think that I'll still get that good ole' feeling when I light up the tree.

Well, UGA lost AGAIN today! I was pretty disappointed in my dawgs. Anyway, I'm just sitting here listening to some old school Bone Thugs...and LOVING it! "For Tha Love of Money" - what a classic. In 12th grade, my dad threw my Bone tape out of the window of my car because they said Mutha F#@$*!. How ironic...he's sitting on the couch, right beside me, and I'm still listening to this jam, 6 years later! (Thanks to headphones...)

On to more serious topics... Have you ever wanted something so bad, but just didn't know what to do to get it? Yeah, me too. I don't know if it's motivation or direction that I'm lacking. I feel like I'm motivated enough to plan, but too scared to really do anything about it. And why is that? Am I scared that I will have to become an adult? Am I scared that I will get what I want and then won't know what to do next? Anyway, if anyone figures out the secret to surviving your 20s without doing permanent damage to your sanity, please let me know!

Today, I would like to chat about music. I have fallen in love with the new No Doubt song - "Hey Baby." Another new favorite is the new Incubus cd - especially #13 "Aqueous Transmission." I am very thankful that I like all kinds of music. I would hate to know that I was limited to enjoying only one kind. Music, in general, is so fascinating to me. It is like a total escape from reality. I love to talk about music. Send me a post and let me know what you like!

I am sitting here trying to figure out exactly what this site's going to be about. I have decided that I am not going to try and enlighten the masses with thought provoking dialogue. Instead, I'm just going to use this site as an outlet for my creativity, or frustrations, or anything else that may come up. In the spirit of High Fidelity, I do plan to have a daily Top 5 List.
